Reliant Nationwide Staffing is in search of a strong Mechanical Drafter for our #1 client in La Porte! This is a 1,040 hour contract to hire opportunity with a great company.

Job Description:
5+ years experience as a Mechanical Drafter.
5+ years experience working with rotating equipment.
They're looking for high end talent in their drafting department.
The drafting pieces need to be highly proficient in AutoCAD/Inventor, with a primary focus on 3D modeling. They need to have a strong proficiency in precision measuring tools to be able to effectively perform reverse engineering task.
Must have complex/precision geometry modeling experience and rotating equipment experience. Experienced with Master Cam as well.
Experience and knowledge in the rotating equipment industry would be ideal, but the likelihood of finding exactly that will likely be minimal (but impellers and blade/airfoils would put them ahead of the curve from most candidates).

Schedule: Must be willing to work weekends and extended hours when workload requires. Typical work week is around 50-55 hours.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
