Pool and Spa Depot has an immediate opening for a
Mechanic to work from our LaVergne, TN Headquarters.

The Mechanic will perform general maintenance, diagnose, and repair on our fleet of cars, trucks, and off-road equipment. In addition, the mechanic will maintain and repair machinery and warehouse lift equipment to maintain the safety and reliability of the unit.

Job Duties include but are not limited to the following.
- Perform repair work on vehicles such as breakdowns, malfunctions & emergency roadside repair in a safe & efficient manner.
- Perform operation test prior to repairs to verify complaint
- Diagnose cause of malfunction and perform repairs
- Perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles such as fluid changes, lubricants, safety inspections, and brake repairs.
- Perform preventive maintenance on off-road equipment .
- Perform final test on all vehicles to quality-check all repairs
- Perform DOT inspections
- Examine vehicle to determine if any additional safety or repair work is needed.
- Follow documentation procedures
- Ensure vehicles are clean and washed after repair is completed
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-3 years mechanical experience with diesel and gas equipment
- Current and valid driver’s license
- DOT Certification Knowledge
- Skilled in diagnosis and repair of electrical systems on trucks and equipment
- Ability to operate various pieces of equipment such as backhoes and lifts
