Job Title: Mechanic
Pay Rate: $23 to 27/Hr.
Duration: 9 Months
Location: San Diego, CA

Shift Timing - First Shift - 8 hrs - (08:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST)

This position is for the Rolling Stock division.

This position requires Contingent Workers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless they are granted a medical or religious exemption.

• Dismantles, repairs assembles, and sets up failed product returns from customers (focus on mechanics).
• Plans and executes assigned own repair projects.
• Communicates and cooperates with customer service or customers directly to identify mail functionalities.
• Analyzes technical problems with the product, and completes mechanical and/or electrical repairs and work orders.
• Contributes to installation projects on-site, and supports accountable Industrial Engineers.
• In Assembly: Incumbent needs to have a certain degree of theoretical knowledge and procedural understanding to operate in qualified assembly processes, which includes effective usage of a number of tools and machines during the assembly process.
• The Assembly process however still repetitive and routine.
• 2-year vocational training + up to 1-year experience needed Basic knowledge and experience of principles, procedures, work routines, and skills in the related field of work, gained through a structured and focused two-year vocational training period.

Salary: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
