Material Handler

Chattanooga, TN

HTI is currently hiring a material handler for Draexlmaier in Chattanooga, TN. Interested candidates should have prior material handling experience, stable work history, and will need to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities of a Material Handler

• Correctly stage and transport materials with labels affixed correctly.
• Effectively communicate with team leaders and supervisors regarding problems with the material flow, absence of parts, and safety concerns.
• Receive, sort, and distribute goods/materials and book them in and out according to instructions, if necessary.
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements of a Material Handler

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• At least 6 months forklift operating experience
• Able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively
• Ability to work OT when required.
