Job Description:

• Unloads trucks and signs for all shipments delivered Verifies number of packages, condition of packages, and quantity of items, through the use of the computer
• Enters, on the computer, the quantity of parts received and purchase order that it was received against, and affixes appropriate identification to items
• Perform inventory transactions to include: receipts, issues, material returns, etc
• Resolves conflicts with purchase orders with the help of purchasing agents and supervisor, if necessary
• Works closely with internal Quality Control to verify inventory along the inspection process
• Works closely with manufacturing, purchasing, engineering areas to ensure a smooth flow of material to the respective areas
• Other duties as assigned
