Here is some of what you will do:
Coordinate receiving and distribution of incoming material, equipment, and samples, including 55-gallon drums

Load and unload trucks, handle packages, stock shelves, and move drums

Prepare material, equipment, and samples for shipping according to regulations and prepare related documentation

Operate forklift and other material handling equipment to deliver received goods

Post records, prepare reports, and perform other related clerical duties

Responsible for maintaining facilities and equipment in a safe and orderly manner

Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and manipulate 55-gallon drums

Maintaining chemical inventories

Chemical handling, requiring physical labor

Creating, registering, and labeling small material samples split from a larger sample

Maintaining supplies, files, and sample inventory

Performing safety inspections and general housekeeping duties

Maintaining the safety and security of the work area

Formal laboratory training or prior laboratory or chemical handling experience is preferred

Skills and experience:
A high school diploma or GED

A valid state-issued driver's license

Forklift experience highly desired but not required

Must be able to work in a production and laboratory setting with minimum supervision while following safe work practices at all times

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Pay $24-26/HR depending on experience.
Location: Annandale, NJ.
