Job Title: Material Coordinator / Expeditor

Summary: Responsible for moving products/materials and fixtures to and from machines and manufacturing areas, receiving product/material from vendors or shipping agencies and storing correctly, also responsible for maintaining fluid levels in machines and general shop cleanliness.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Moves products/materials to and from machines and manufacturing areas.
• Moves fixtures to and from machines, ensuring safety and proper installation.
• Receives products/materials from vendors and shipping agencies utilizing forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes.
• Ensures proper count and storage of received products, materials and goods.
• Helps Maintain & organize Finished Goods
• Maintains general shop cleanliness and grounds upkeep.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prior material handling experience preferred.

Working Conditions:

Normal Production environments, subject to high noise levels from operating machines; physical hazards from moving equipment and sharp machine parts; breathing fumes, dust and mist; skin exposure to oil and cutting fluid; exposure to sharp metal edges, and forklifts

Physical Requirements:

• Must have ability to read applicable customer/Tell Tool documents with or without corrective lenses.
• May have lift up to fifty (50) pounds or more at a time.
• Must be able to push, pull, reach overhead, stand, walk, climb stairs, bend and/or sit for long periods of time.
