Master Planner SME
ON SITE: Marietta, GA
Pay rate is $35- $70 per hour DOE*
Active Secret Clearance PREFERRED
US Citizenship Required
This is not a Maintenance Scheduler position. We are looking for a SME Master Planner/Scheduler for critical programs. If you a re you a Master Planner looking for a long term contract with EXCELLENT rates- This is it!!
In this important role you will provide planning/scheduling support to meet multiple immediate requirements across a large defense industry programs. You will assist in the development and maintenance of components of the Program Integrated Master Schedule, with a heavy emphasis on proposal schedule development; review and support Statement of Work and Basis of Estimate development.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Advising the Program Management team when and if a contractual impact is expected or when critical events have happened, including factors which may impact delivery or cost.
- Ensuring Communication and Cross-coordination with IPTs.
- Interacting across a variety of program functional organizations including: engineering, procurement, contracts, business management and production.
- Developing/refining knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Utilizing Critical Path Methodology and applying it in schedule network development and analysis
- Accepting and 'owning' additional responsibilities as appropriate when required.
Required/Experience Skills:
- Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of experience or Masters with 7+years.
- An Active Secret Clearance is strongly desired. Previous clearance a plus. Must be able to obtain clearance-US Citizenship is required.
- Campaign/Proposal experience
- Extensive experience using an Enterprise Planning Tool MS Project, Primavera (P6), Deltek Open Plan. (Open Plan preferred)
- At least 5 years of Program Master/Scheduling experience in Aerospace/Aviation or Defense manufacturing environments (ideal)
- 5+ years of experience utilizing Critical Path Methodology and understanding of how to apply it in schedule network development and analysis
- Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills to work in a team environment.
- History of preparing status reports, metrics and making presentations as required.
- Must be self-starter and have demonstrated Program Planning and Scheduling hands on experience.
