We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor - Offline to join our San Antonio team!
The Manufacturing Operations Supervisor - Offline role directs the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality and cost objectives. Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Responsibilities:

The Manufacturing Operations Supervisor - Offline role directs the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality and cost objectives. Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Directs the development and implementation of activities in production/repair area(s) to meet production/repair goals, quality and cost objectives. Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply. Plans and administers procedures and budgets. Makes budgetary recommendations and may control capital expenditures and direct/indirect,
Responsible for managing safety for all offline activities including leading and safety meetings, identifying opportunities and resolving issues for the area- Accountable for producing the best quality trucks in the industry by achieving and maintaining key quality KPIs
- Responsible for managing staffing and resources to efficiently repair vehicles, hit quality and safety goals and attain cost targets
- Responsible for attaining budgetary targets for area of accountability
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement through the use of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Train, develop and grow the team as a whole and individual members
- Ability to identify production issues in real time to achieve daily production requirements
- Responsible for achievement of daily scheduling requirements to meet customer needs and expectations
- Responsible for cultivating a healthy, high-performance culture for hourly paid personnel
- Directs the development and implementation of activities in Heavy Truck Manufacturing Repair Production areas.
- Lead and direct General Assembly employees and provide guidance to meet safety, production goals, quality and cost objectives
- Monitors production schedules and provides feedback to Plant leadership based on manpower, product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply
- Makes recommendations for equipment and tooling plans and directs the daily direct and indirect labor to meet production/repair requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 3 years of production/manufacturing experience
OR
- Master’s degree
- At least 1 year of production/manufacturing experience
OR
- At least 5 years of production/manufacturing experience

Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. - Understanding in the compliance of Company Safety and Environmental Policies
- Automobile repair experience desired
- Demonstrated understanding of the assembly and production systems associated with Automotive or Truck assembly, or experience with Tier 1 component systems and production.
- Knowledge in lean manufacturing and automation in the manufacturing environment
- Experience in leading an organization based on achievement of business goals
- Knowledge of quality and material systems in a manufacturing environment Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Ability to lead and coach employees to achieve their daily goals
- Full Microsoft suit experience preferred
- Ability to schedule repairs in a timely manner
- Knowledgeable on CVT Software (Common Vehicle Tracking)
