Job description

Manual Test Engineer with experience in building and enhancing test automation frameworks to join our team. In this role, you will be part of the Software Verification and Validation (SV&V) team responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality products through software testing principles, test automation, collaboration, and innovative problem-solving. Your contributions will make an impact on the critical missions of our government clients, solving challenges that aim to improve millions of lives across the globe.

Required Experience:

Applicants must demonstrate in their resume at least 3 year of QA experience in the following:

• Test Planning
• Test Execution
• Test Result Analysis

Applicants should possess and be able to communicate a basic understanding of and have some hands-on (direct) experience with:

• Defining bugs and communicating with developers and application SMEs about bugs
• Evaluating and providing meaningful input to the development of software requirements
• Experienced in Manual Testing

Applicants must

• PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint

Knowledge in management tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA Platform, Wiki, SharePoint;

SQL- must have experience writing queries (select, update, delete)

Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)- must understand basic flow

Write test cases

Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira and/or ServiceNow preferred)

Understands basic QA methodology and processes

Attention to detail

Experience with Office suite

Communication skills

Exposure to backend services/microservices testing is a plus;

Ability to review the complex code and write unit test cases;

Must be a self-starter/self-directed member of the team;

Strong analytical and communication skills.

A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, math, or related field is desired;
An advanced degree in communications, computer science, or related discipline may be substituted for two years of experience;
Employer will accept a suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
