The Manager in Training program is designed to train potential leaders in our organization. The M.I.T. is an entry-level position that offers a variety of opportunities to learn and grow, to take on new responsibilities, and develop leadership skills. In this role, you will gain experience as an engaged team player, capable team leader and responsible manager who is ready to lead our company into the future. This role will primarily focus on business administration, sales, social media outreach, payroll, small team management, and client / vendor relationship management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage product knowledge / promotions and stay up to date on market trends
- Assist in team meetings daily / weekly
- Manage customer complaints and or vendor / client compliance issues and handle accordingly
- Manage P&L on local territory
- Perform human resources-related tasks and get with HR / recruitment team on hiring
initiatives and assist in the hiring process / decision making
- Oversee new hires and orient them to the role
- Manage in-store promotions and meet sales goals personally and as a team
- Exceed sales expectations
- Maintain local and national compliance standards
- Maintain local Vendor / Client relationships
- Assist in social media outreach efforts
This is a full time opening where one weekend day will be required. You do not need to have relevant experience as there is training provided. Compensation is broken down to weekly pay periods that consist of your base salary plus bonuses / commissions earned.
