Manager, Credit and Collections - Full Time – Orlando, Florida


All Star is looking for an experienced Manager, Credit and Collections. This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer and will be based in Orlando, If you enjoy being part of a growing company, a fast-paced environment and seeing the fruits of your labor, All Star is the place for you!


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage team of 6 remote collection specialists, provide guidance and professional development to the team, and be the point of escalation.
  • Drive high-quality and efficient execution by setting priorities and daily targets for the team, monitoring team performance, and course correcting when necessary.
  • Design and implement collection processes to improve cash flow and reduce company’s DSO.
  • Monitor and negotiate the collection of overdue accounts.
  • Monitor and report any deviation from the company’s credit policies.
  • Ensure proper audit support and internal controls related to the credit / collection process.
  • Report A/R and Collection KPI’s to management on a consistent and frequent basis.
  • Collaborate and serve as a representative for liaising with teams across the entire business (Sales, Operations, Legal, Finance, IT, 3rd party service providers, and customers) to achieve the company’s goals.
  • Provide weekly cash receipt forecasts and track vs. actual performance
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly AR Reports, metrics and dashboards to drive improvements in the collection process.
  • Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, participation in special projects, ERP implementations, system enhancements or ad hoc analyses as assigned.
  • Travel required: approximately 10%


Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in credit and collections
  • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • Experience with NetSuite or comparable financial system
  • Self-starter and motivated. Willing to be a working manager who will roll up their sleeves and get things done.
  • Ability to prioritize work in relation to departmental goals and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional telephone demeanor
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills
  • Strong problem solving skills and solutions-oriented thinking
  • Ability to collaborate with others in a team environment and develop effective working relationships with direct reports, peers, managers, vendors, and customers
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, motivate, and mentor staff to achieve team objectives, drive engagement, and build bench strength
  • Demonstrated organizational, multitasking, and tenacious follow-up skills in a fast-paced, high volume environment
