Mammography Tech - Full Time
JOB SUMMARY:
Mountain West Medical Center is nestled at the base of the Oquirrh Mountains in Tooele, Utah. This award winning healthcare facility and clinics has expert staff serving the largest county in Utah. Currently we are looking to fill the vital role of Mammography Techno I.
- Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs Mammography procedures at appropriate technical level.
- Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
- Assumes responsibility for the designated areas and/or procedures as required.
- Recognizes the purpose of employment is to prioritize the patient as number one, and to put forth the utmost quality as a Technologist.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Possess a diploma from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Experience: Desirable characteristics include at least two years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment. Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards when no directions are given. Must be emotionally mature and able to function under stress.
- Required: ARRT Certification in Radiologic Technology, Mammography, Current Utah State Licensure and BLS with in 30days of hire.
