Job description

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.

Responsibilities

• Perform authorized requests for common element maintenance.
• Complete management work orders.
• Assist in maintaining and repairing all common elements.
• Police grounds and parking lots, pick up all trash, and sweep sidewalks and curbs as necessary.
• Replace all interior and exterior light bulbs as necessary.
• Inform maintenance, and/or assistant maintenance manager when contractors are on the property.
• Distribute board mail and post notices as requested by maintenance, and/or assistant maintenance manager.
• Handle snow removal as assigned by maintenance manager.
• Handle all landscaping duties as assigned by maintenance and/or assistant maintenance manager.
• Lock the maintenance, administration, and clubhouse buildings as directed by maintenance managers.
• Follow established safety policies and procedures.
• Wear designated uniform/apparel, as provided by the association.
• Perform services which may be requested by the board of directors or general manager through the maintenance managers.

Qualifications

• Able to perform basic maintenance and repairs for the property.
• Able to maintain positive, cordial, business-like relationships with residents always.
• Able to work cooperatively with other staff members.
• Able to work without supervision when necessary.
• Able to work in a safe manner.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Landscape maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
