Maintenance Technician II

What You’ll Do
- Perform electrical work such as troubleshooting failed electrical circuits and replacing a 20a breaker
- Perform HVAC repairs such cleaning an evaporator coil and replacing an exhaust fan motor
- Perform plumbing work such as operating a drain cleaning drum and replacing a domestic water circulation pump
- Repair heavily damaged walls to like new condition
- Complete paint jobs while keeping a clean work area and properly maintaining the tools
- Perform appliance repairs such as replacing washing machine door seal to a stove glass top
- Identify carpet stains and utilize spot cleaning chemicals and tools
- Safely operate the garbage & recycling compactors
- Safely operate, fuel, and maintain pressure washing equipment
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the LOTO program. Knows where to locate LOTO equipment and how to apply to routine tasks.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the Pillar Properties HazCom Policy. Knows how to access the Chemical Inventory, Safety Data Sheets and Policy. All chemicals in use by team members are accounted for in the Chemical Inventory and all secondary containers have appropriate and filled out labels applied
- Perform complete unit turns with little direction from repairing damage to completing preventative maintenance
- Identify and repair door issues such as a sagging door and replacing a failed door closer
- Access and understand Yardi software including the Work Order and Make Ready Dashboards
- Demonstrate a positive, professional, and customer service-driven attitude about the company with team members, residents, vendors, and the public
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 6am to 2:30pm
What You Bring
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must have own hand tools
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have the ability to lift up to 60 lbs, carry up to 40 lbs, and push/pull up to 50 lbs
