Essential Duties and Responsibilities for the Maintenance Tech II position

  • Perform general maintenance work to maintain structures, electrical systems, small machines, heating systems, plumbing, etc.
  • Repair and replace parts on mechanical equipment
  • Repair and replace electrical switches and small motor controls, replace fuses and lighting equipment
  • Proceed on assignments with minimum supervision. Work is subject to final inspection and check.
  • Observe all Boyd safety and OSHA guidelines and procedures
  • Must follow and support the QMS requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • Any other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to communicate effectively with all staff members on a professional level at all times. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

Knowledge

Mechanical, PLC, electrical and hydraulic repair abilities and knowledge are required. Basic welding and fabrication skills. Basic reasoning skills and language.

Certificates, Licenses, Registration
Company-certified forklift training

Training

Working knowledge of all procedures outlined in the QMS Procedures - Master List.
