As a full time Process Maintenance Technician on 3rd shift you would work Sunday Night through Thursday Night, from 9:30pm-6am.
The Maintenance / Facilities Technician is responsible providing mechanical and electoral maintenance support to ensure proper upkeep of complex equipment. This includes developing, implementing and maintaining new and improved manufacturing systems as well as methods, strategies, and technologies in order to produce reliable products within a reasonable schedule and budget.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensures cost-effective design, installation, transfer methods, monitoring, and modification of manufacturing equipment.
  • Resolves problems in equipment, process, or materials. Evaluates alternative approaches to the manufacturing process and equipment design.
  • Interfaces with internal and external customers, suppliers, and/or equipment vendors to resolve manufacturing and equipment issues.
  • Develops justifications for capital equipment and development projects. Performs cost/benefit analysis on new and existing manufacturing equipment.
  • Identifies equipment improvement opportunities and leads in the development of action plans to improve such equipment.
  • Performs reactive and preventative maintenance on production equipment utilizing electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical trouble shooting techniques.
  • Assists in scheduling time with Operations to perform PM’s on production equipment.
  • Assists in the training of technicians as needed.
  • Assists in maintaining accurate maintenance records and information on production equipment, parts and supplies.
  • Communicates with Engineering and production personnel to resolve equipment related process problems.
  • Assist engineering with process development and process enhancements.
  • Helps maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills and Knowledge
  • Good working knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Knowledge / skills in all aspects of electrical, electronics, mechanical, pneumatics a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Software.
  • Must be available as needed for scheduled and unscheduled weekend coverage and overtime.
  • Ability to communicate effectively by phone, e-mail and group settings.
  • Knowledge of shop tools and equipment, electrical and mechanical, a plus.
Education and Experience
  • Two year Associate Degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology / Automation Engineering Technology or Two year Associate Degree in Industrial Mechanical Technician / Mechatronics Specialist preferred or equivalent working experience in the field.
  • PVC plumbing experience a plus but not required.
  • Welding experience a plus but not required.
Teammates in this role start at: $22.60/hour , rates may be higher depending on experience
Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
