Job description

We are looking for a maintenance worker to add to our team. We are a private, year-round residential school for students with intellectual disabilities and autism located in Columbia, TN.

Full-time availability preferred but we can also consider part-time.

Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm

Minimum qualifications

• Carpentry, plumbing, electrical, heating/cooling units, painting, masonry and general mechanic repair-at least 2 years of experience preferred.
• Use of mowing equipment, vehicles, and other basic tools and maintenance equipment.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Clean criminal background (no felony convictions, abuse, assault, neglect convictions).

Job Duties include:

• Address maintenance work orders.
• Maintain the grounds, mow, weedeat, disposal of trash.
• Assist with the maintenance, cleanliness and gasoline fueling needs of vehicles
• Perform indoor pool maintenance.
• Perform carpentry tasks.
• Install or repair electrical/circuit switches, fans, lighting, fixtures and other equipment.
• Install or repair plumbing fixtures, water lines, drainage, and sewage disposal fills.
• Make repairs to laundry, refrigerating and heating and cooling systems.
