Machine Operators with good Mechanical Experience
Job description
Seeking Machine Operators for a manufacturing company in York PA.
Machine Operators start between 20.00-21.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities of the Jobs:
Company needs individuals who have experience as a machine operator in another company. (Large industrial machinery-dusty)
- Operators load up or feed materials into automated production machinery
- Must perform quality checks to ensure product is meeting all specs
- Must look for any jam-ups or issues with the machinery and be able to safely unjam the machinery and know when to call a mechanic for assistance
- Must keep their work area clean and safe
- Must follow all safety guidelines and procedures
- Schedule is 6:00 PM to 6:00AM. 12 hour shifts. Work 3 days one week-4 days next week. This is a 2 days on-2 days off-3 days on-2 days off schedule. You end up working every other weekend.
- Need someone who is reliable and has great attendance
- Need individuals who are not going to be intimidated by large equipment and machinery (there are many moving parts and conveyors)
Desired Skills and Experience:
Someone with a few years of previous machine operator experience
- Someone with a high attention to detail
-Someone who love OT-with this schedule you would get 8 hours of OT every other week. There is plenty of opportunity to get additional OT.
- Prefer individuals who are somewhat mechanical
- Would consider construction personnel who are very mechanically oriented
- Company trains everyone on first shift and then they are moved to night shift
With OT these jobs could make 50-55k per year with full time benefits!
