This role is a key position within our Bistro production room and operates and maintains the sealing machine equipment. This pivotal role impacts line efficiencies by increasing production, reducing rework and minimizing downtime. This key position will be a champion of line maintenance for the T300, Multipond and Proseal GT machines.

What you will Do:

• Follows GMP/PPE, Safety guidelines
• Follow & maintain HACCP & Sanitation guidelines & processes
• Communicate (verbally & in writing) to complete downtime reporting and hourly production rates.
• Understands yield standards
• Works safely around moving equipment & conveyors in wet environment
• Perform proper scanning of line downtime and scan proper parts/SKUs.
• Complete the daily schedule
• Complete Preventative Maintenance (PM's), Clean, Inspect, Lubricate (CIL's) and conduct proper trouble-shooting as necessary.
• Maintain Production efficiency (80% +)
• Communicate and educate other associates for the purpose of maintaining good product quality as it enters the sealing equipment
• Maintain safe work environment

• Comply with SQF Regulatory Programs
• Maintains a clean work area at all times
• Follow and enforce the 5S Methodology including maintaining tools and equipment as defined by the 5S marking.
• Conduct autonomous maintenance (AM) activities including: Four Equipment skills for operators:

• Able to understand and explain to associates the definition of the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
• Perform equipment adjustments, equipment center lining, and pre-flight start up inspection including cleaning condensation.
• Able to operate the Vorne Efficiency Tracking System
• Perform other duties as needed.

Physical Work Environment / Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to perform repetitive movements (i.e., loading bowls into tray carrier). The associate regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

• Ability to move about within a fast paced environment in/outside facility, and traverse between maintenance shop & production floor.
