POSITION SUMMARY
EBCE is seeking to hire a full-time Reporting Analyst to join the Local Programs team, reporting to the Vice President of Local Development, Electrification and Innovation. The Reporting Analyst will:
- Support the creation and evolution of tools and reports that communicate the impacts of EBCE’s Local Development efforts internally and externally.
- Manage drafting and publication of an annual Local Development Program report.
- Coordinate internally and externally to develop and manage a portfolio of Community Grants that deliver benefits across EBCE service territory.
POSITION DETAILS
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage EBCE’s Annual Local Development Program report
- Work with the Local Programs and Data and Analytics teams to ensure that all EBCE Program participants are properly recorded in Salesforce
- Manage EBCE’s Local Development IMPLAN model to ensure all of EBCE’s Programmatic initiatives have been incorporated and the local economic impacts of these services are estimated
- Assist with the development and fulfillment of external reports to regulatory agencies such as the California Public Utilities Commission and the California Energy Commission
- Manage portfolio of Community Grants in coordination with the Local Programs and Marketing teams, as well as EBCE’s Community Advisory Committee
- Coordinate data collection efforts between vendors and EBCE’s internal Data and Analytics team
- Support with preparation in reporting, updates, and presentations to EBCE leadership, inclusive of the EBCE Board of Directors and its committees
- Maintain databases for customer and program tracking and other purposes as needed, leveraging EBCE’s internal Salesforce capabilities
- Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting for customer programs to track success
- Track program budgets, including expense reports, and assist others in compiling this information when requested
- Support with contract and management, including monitoring vendor progress and managing amendments as needed
- Perform other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with minimum 1 year of work experience, or
- Relevant Associate’s degree with 3 years of work experience, or
- High School degree or equivalent with 5 years of work experience
- Interest in the energy sector and delivering an excellent customer/client experience
- Passion for contributing to the success of community choice energy in California
- Familiarity with building electrification technologies and programs or interventions to support those technologies
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and Salesforce
- Experience with SQL, Google Data Studio, Dashboards and BI tools are a plus
- Knowledge of or experience in other demand side strategies, including demand response and building electrification, a plus
- Experience managing grants and working with CBOs are a plus
- Fluency in Spanish, Cantonese, or Mandarin is desirable
- Ability to:
- Identify and utilize metrics and KPIs to track success of a program or project
- Conduct research and provide recommendations
- Critically analyze and evaluate proposals, programs, policies, and data
- Effectively manage projects and vendor relationships
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail
- Prioritize, be nimble, and self-directed in a highly fluid and rapidly changing environment
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $86,567 - $113,619. The exact compensation package offered will be dependent on candidate experience.

Location and Working Conditions
This position will be based in EBCE headquarters in Oakland, near BART. EBCE's team has a hybrid approach inclusive of in-office and remote work. This role is expected to go into the office 2-3 days a week. We are not providing relocation or sponsorships currently.
