The Home & Garden business unit of Spectrum Brands is based in St. Louis, Missouri with distribution, manufacturing and sales offices throughout the US and globe. Performs repetitive line assembly operations to mass-produce consumer products such as insecticides, pesticides, herbicides, and various household chemicals.

• Model the Spectrum Brands eight Core Capabilities to achieve service excellence, meet and exceed organizational objectives and support fiscal responsibility.
• Must understand and demonstrate safe work practices at all times to ensure a safe work environment
• Contribute to the accomplishment of key performance indicators including safety, quality, production, cost and development
• Place empty bottles/cans onto conveyor
• Place caps on bottles/cans
• Hang sprayers on bottles
• Inspect labels on bottles
• Erect boxes for packaging of finished product
• Package finished product
• Work at different workstations as production needs require
• Perform general housekeeping duties
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out verbal instructions
• Good communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization.

Working conditions are normal for a warehouse facility, manufacturing plant, and office environment.
