Job description
Line Cook(s) needed to help facilitate restaurant kitchens and catering events. This position will report to one of our 4 kitchens on Fripp Island but also work events around the island. The position will report to the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and Chef in their kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining the highest level of food quality at your individual kitchen
- Capable of producing a consistent product in a timely manner
- Staying highly organized to make sure all items featured on the menu and BEO’s are delivered and served correctly
- Ensure proper safety and sanitation of all kitchen/food service areas
- Working with the restaurant and event serving staff to prepare and present the food for each restaurant and event
- Ensure all sanitation procedures are followed using proper serving and cleaning techniques
- Assist when needed to wash dishes, take-out trash, store, and rotate products/food deliveries
- Must be in proper uniform (with name tag when working front of the house)
Knowledge, and Experience:
- Must be a team player
- Must be reliable, dependable, and self-motivate
- Experience preferred but not required
Specialized Skills:
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 50 lbs.
