Now hiring a Lighting Retrofit Estimator for direct-hire!
Trillium Construction is now hiring in New Jersey!!
Our client is one of the nation’s largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions. They now have a direct hire opportunity in Manalapan, New Jersey for a Lighting Retrofit Estimator!! Salary is between $70k and $90K. Benefits include M/V/D (United Healthcare), 401k with a company match after 1 year, discretionary bonuses, 15 days of PTO and 7 paid holidays. A car allowance is provided as well between $450-$600 a month non taxed.
Duties Include:
- Communicate with customers to define the project scope, address deficiencies, negotiate pricing and build relationships
- Review completed estimates and proposals for thoroughness, accuracy, value engineering alternatives and compliance with strategic goals.
- Review material pricing provided by vendors and adjust estimating database and procedures accordingly.
- Prepare proposals for budgetary and conceptual estimates and for strategic opportunities.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and/or meets with customers to audit the site to identify project scope.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; or five years related experience and/or training
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced work environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be organized, detailed-oriented and efficient.
- Experience bidding high-rise, commercial, residential, and mixed use buildings, design builds, tenant finish-outs, and low voltage projects a must!
