POSITION OVERVIEW:

Under the general direction of the Clinical Director, the Program Manager provides clinical and administrative oversight of Rediscover’s Thrive Program both directly and through the supervision of departmental supervisors.

Strategy & Planning

  • Program Manager responsibilities include overall responsibility for administrative, fiscal and clinical performance of the program they manager.
  • Supervisory responsibilities include supervision of counseling staff, the nurse, community support worker, techs, and team leaders.
  • Effective communication and coordination with referral sources are essential.
  • Responsibilities also include cooperative efforts with the other program managers to develop and improve efficiency of service delivery as inter-related between departments and coordination with external service providers to improve the delivery of services to the clients served.
  • Clinical services shall be provided, and administrative duties conducted in accordance with the standards of clinical practice established by the State of Missouri, the policies and procedures of ReDiscover and the contractual requirements of the State of Missouri, Department of Mental Health, Division of Alcohol and Drug Service.


Operational Management

  • Actively participate in leadership meetings.
  • Excellent organizational skills and follow-through.
  • Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Acts with integrity by observing ReDiscover policy/procedures, accreditation standards, laws and ethics.
  • Supports the strategic goals and mission/vision/values of ReDiscover when interacting with clients, co-workers, and community stakeholders.
  • Contributes to the mission of ReDiscover by adjusting work priorities and duties as needed to meet unforeseen demands.
  • Exhibits independent discretion and judgment with respect to matters of significance on a daily basis.

By joining Team ReDiscover, our expectation is:

  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work, psychiatric nursing, counseling or other related mental health field which would qualify for licensure in the State of Missouri.
  • Must possess a valid clinical license from the State of Missouri (LCSW, LPC, LMFT or PMHNP).
  • At least five (3) years clinical experience in a direct service provision to adults and children in a mental health setting.
  • Minimum of three (3) years supervisory and management of mid-level employees experience is required.
  • Requires Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as G-Suite.
  • Understanding the function of nonprofits, specifically within behavioral healthcare is preferred.
