Accel Entertainment is the largest Gaming Terminal Operator in the country. We provide slot machines, redemption terminals, and amusement devices (pool tables, juke boxes, dart boards, etc.) to bars, restaurants, convenience stores, truck stops, and fraternal and veteran establishments across the country. SUMMARY
The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, processing, submitting, and tracking municipal license applications and other licenses and permits related to video gaming operations; communicating compliance-related updates; drafting and revising agreements; managing, tracking, and updating databases; developing and maintaining professional relationships with the Illinois Gaming Board, municipalities, customers, and employees; conducting various administrative duties, as well as assisting in other areas as needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for processing, submitting, and tracking municipal license applications and other licenses and permits related to video gaming operations
- Communicate compliance-related updates to the Illinois Gaming Board (IGB), government entities, and affected departments within the company
- Assist in managing the company’s sales agent database and effectively communicate related updates and reminders to affected departments
- Work with Human Resources to ensure offer letters and employment agreements are timely executed and employee statuses are reported to the IGB on a monthly basis
- Review and monitor IGB location inspection reports for outstanding issues
- Assist with drafting and revising template customer agreements as needed
- Maintain and update compliance-related databases and tracking systems
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with the IGB, municipalities, customers, and employees
- Conduct various administrative duties, including responding to correspondence, scanning documents, and mailing items via FedEx/USPS
QUALIFICATIONS
- Two years experience as a legal analyst or similar
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail, superior organizational skills, high integrity, and consistent follow-through
- Versatility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm and help wherever needed
- Possess good work ethic, be inquisitive, and capable of handling greater challenges and responsibilities over time
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently or as a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, Google Docs, Salesforce, and Adobe
- Experience processing information, such as compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data
- Maintain confidentiality within department
- Experience using analytical skills to independently review, draft, and prepare documents
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Frequently required to sit, walk, talk, and hear
- Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity, including use of a keyboard
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust or focus
- Noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate
