Gilman & Bedigian, LLC is looking for an intake paralegal/legal assistant to join our personal injury law firm.

Presently, we are actively looking for full time administrative staff and paralegals to join our growing firm. We have immediate need for an Intake Paralegal in our office. This position is essential in our firm, as it deals with case acquisition.

The day-to-day tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Interviewing potential clients
• Assessing merits of each potential case, and signing up relevant cases
• Updating Needles (case management software) with new client/ accident info
• Sending out Retainer Agreements to new clients
• Setting new clients up with medical treatment
• Sending Letters of Representation to appropriate parties

We have a high volume of calls from potential clients, this means that this position is a busy one. Candidates must be able to multi-task, have basic computer skills, and MUST be able to develop a great rapport with our clients. Candidates must be responsible, organized, highly motivated, and have superb communication skills.

Experience working in a law firm is preferred. Experience working in a Personal Injury and/or Medical Malpractice firm is preferred. Knowledge of Needles preferred.
