Dudley DeBosier, a premier industry leader in Personal Injury Law, is currently seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our team. Essential Job Functions
- Daily communication via phone, email, and in-person.
- Conduct case research.
- Request and maintain supporting documents.
- Review, upload, and process correspondence through our case management software.
- Schedule and maintain the Attorney’s calendar.
- Schedule and participate in client meetings.
- Prepare demands, answer discovery, and draft pleadings.
- Write medical record summaries and maintain billing accuracy.
Job Qualifications
- An associate degree or combination of education and experience; preferred bachelor’s degree.
- 1 to 3 years’ experience working as a legal assistant or paralegal; preferred in Personal Injury Litigation.
- Demonstrated exemplary customer service skills.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to understand and interpret legal documents.
