Job Overview:
Learning & Capabilities Manager

What you will do:
Reporting to the Director of Strategy, Planning, & Capabilities, and sitting in our Commercial Center of Excellence, you will lead learning and capabilities efforts across some of our most important sales functions. Practically, that looks like leading some incredibly important work for us, including:
  • Own our sales-focused training programs
    • We have a diverse set of selling teams and customers – from national retail accounts to fountain & food service to bottlers & distributors – and you will lead training efforts to help us maximize the potential of our teams
    • You will have the opportunity to lead capability needs identification, program & content design and development, training facilitation, and impact tracking
    • Examples of critical skill areas we focus on with training programs include sales forecasting, business acumen, sales planning & negotiation, communication skills, project management, and team leadership & coaching
    • Additionally, you will coordinate with vendors to deliver critical capabilities for our tools (syndicated data, planogram & space tools, etc.)
  • Lead our early career programs
    • Partnering with HR, lead recruiting efforts for our internship and early career development programs.
    • Coordinate & support our interns during the summer. We regularly receive feedback from our interns that we run an exceptional program that sets them up for career success – you will lead and shape that program for the future
    • Support our leadership development rotation program. This is a high visibility program to develop our next generation of talent, with key responsibility for program success falling to the Learning & Capabilities Manager
Requirements:
What you bring to the table:
  • Required
    • A passion for people development
    • A love for teaching – from lesson development to delivery to real-world coaching
    • A unique balance – you should be both a highly organized, linear, analytic thinker and possess world class communication, interpersonal, & influencing skills
    • Bachelor’s Degree from accredited institution
  • Really nice to have
    • Experience in CPG sales
    • Experience as a training manager
