This Energy Manager position (HVAC) is at the Naval Support Facility Indian Head in Indian Head. The Energy Manager whose primary duty and responsibility is to ensure operations, the goals and policies of the Environmental Management System, the Installation Energy Plan, controls, The BAS and other specified Sustainability requirements affecting the contract. The Energy Manager shall be knowledgeable in the HVAC field, develop, implement, and monitor environmental strategies, policies and programs that promote sustainable development and examine the contract activities to establish where improvements can be made and ensure compliance with environmental legislation and energy policy. The Energy Manager shall have a minimum two years of experience with environmental procedures like this contract (see below); familiarity with Environmental Management Systems/BAS); and knowledge of environmental regulations and federal energy laws and policy (including energy and water reduction requirements and renewable energy requirements) that are applicable to operations similar to those of this contract.

Compensation will be based on salaries for this position (check Salary.com) along with 401k, insurances, vacation, sick days, and holidays.

1. Two Years’ Experience

2. Experience Must Be in Operations and Maintenance

3. Experience At a Large Facility, Such as a Medical Campus, College Campus, Military Base or Equal

4. Worked on Projects with HVAC System

5. Worked on Systems with Building Automation Systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $88,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
