Summary:
- Responsible to provide leadership and supervise all business analysis operations including guiding, directing, controlling and managing the business analysis work on EPMO projects.
- Accountable for timely and efficient delivery of clear & concise business requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to lead outsourced partners to develop project estimates and resource planning for business analysis work. Collaborate with those partners to plan the business analysis efforts and requirements management plan.
- Partner to manage the project scope and guardrails to capture right business requirements.
- Participate in working sessions to define business requirements, controlling the discussions and assist in the development of new business processes.
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise related to business processes for business domain ensuring all aspects of business needs and its impacts are identified thoroughly.
- Apply & incorporate strategic analysis during business requirements gathering.
- Assess the business model and its integration with technology.
- Assist business analysts to resolve any issues blocking the successful completion of requirements.
- Review business analysis artifacts for quality and consistency.
- Accountable for efficient & timely completion of unambiguous, clear, and complete business requirements.
- Participate in status meetings and other leadership activities for the project.
- Responsible for ensuring EPMO best practices are followed throughout the duration of the project.
- Provide business analyst leadership on projects.
- Monitor the project progress and provide regular updates on deliverable timeline & status to senior management & project management.
- Provide relevant insights and recommendations with statistical support/validity on analysis for senior-level business stakeholders make informed decisions.
- Offer technology or process consulting services to a line of business.
- Provide guidance and assist business stakeholders diagnose problems and understand needs.
- Participate in identifying improvement opportunities and continuous enhancement of internal procedures, standards & templates for efficiencies.
- Other EPMO responsibilities as assigned or required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science or a related discipline required
- PMI-PBA or any related/equivalent certification required
- PMP or advanced project/program management certification preferred
- 10+ years related experience in a healthcare environment required
- Experience in Business Process Modeling required
- Strong leadership skills; and experience leading business analysts required
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, collaboration) with all types/levels of audiences required
- Ability to influence, negotiate and drive discussions to desired/appropriate outcomes required
- Strong critical thinking & analytical abilities; and planning/organizing skills required
- Proven expertise working with Waterfall as well as Agile/Scrum methodologies required
- Relevant experience with Trizetto Facets/CAE and Sales Force platforms preferred
- Ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously required
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced dynamic environment with shifting roles and responsibilities required
- Experience leading the work of outsource partners (multi-supplier environment) preferred
