Spring Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center located in Green Springs, OH is looking for a reliable and hard working individual to fill a part-time laundry aide position.

- Partl-time hours are 730am-4pm- 3 days a week; every other weekend and holiday rotation.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Retrieves dirty linen several times a day from nursing units.
- Empties all assigned laundry, carts and chute on a regular basis
- Removes the soiled linen from laundry bags, shakes out linen, sorts it according to classification and places each load in the cart for transport to the washing area.
- Keeps accurate records of total weight of soiled linen each day for each unit/department
- Places linens in to washers to facilitate the cleaning process for sanitation and disinfection.
- Places heavily stainted articles into a cart for re-washing.
- Marks all clothing with name and unit tag.
- Marks all bed and bedroom linen.
- Places finished personal clothing on hangers or folds and places them on cart to be delivered.
- Transports linen daily and stocks the linen rooms as needed.
- Maintains adequate level of linen supplies and notifies supervisor when par levels are low.
- Other duties as assigned.
