Wanted: Landscape Architecture and construction company based in the lake sunapee area is looking to hire a landscape foreperson. Positing involves building landscapes including detailed stonework, plantings, grading and finish excavation, carpentry. Candidate will manage the folks working with them. Position is full time with year round pay, although winter hours being fewer. Job tasks include building landscape construction projects, with features including hand laid stone walls, stone masonry, stone patios, stone steps, placing boulder feature stones, building boulder walls, excavation of soil and rock, installation of plant material, pruning, and grading. Specific skills include working with stone, knowledge of horticulture, CDL A license would be great (or ability/desire to get one), experience operating machinery including skid steers and excavators, and ability to haul trailers. These positions include heavy manual labor, and use of equipment. Ideal foreperson has degree in one of the the related fields IE: (horticulture, design, architecture, landscape architecture) and has some experience in design/build landscape industry. Pay to commensurate with experience. If you apply and have fewer skills or experience you may still be offered employment but with different compensation.
