The position monitors and coordinates the activities of and provides support and assistance to assigned laboratories to enable effective and safe lab operations.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in higher education and interfacing with a diverse range of stakeholders (internal and external).
Supplemental Job Information
1) Assists with set up/configuration of InLab@HCC space for special events, workshops, trainings, and class meetings
2) Assists with scheduling of the InLab@HCC with internal and external stakeholders
3) Assists with purchasing materials and supplies
4) Assists with lab usage and other data collection related to grant deliverables and requirements
5) Interfaces and collaborates with other campuses, college-wide departments, and community stakeholders
6) Requires high level customer service skills and ability to work in a face paced environment
7) Requires flexible work schedule include some evening and occasional weekend hours
8) Requires attention to detail and strong organization skills
9) Supports faculty with InLab@HCC activities
10) Tracks lab usage and submits regular updates
