Job description
IHOP Kitchen / Cooks take pride in every plate, making sure they are served picture perfect. Always ensuring the freshest products are being used to prepare dishes, the line is maintained clean, organized and stocked throughout the shift. The ideal candidate also understands the restaurant’s costs and insures proper recipe adherence. Always follows proper health code requirements, food rotation, labeling and sanitation practices.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Full service restaurant cooking experience helpful.
Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Must have the ability to follow written recipes and order tickets.
Good verbal communication and organizational skills.
Able to develop understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
Accuracy and speed in executing tasks.
Knowledge of culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes a plus.
Ability to work on your feet for 8 or more hours a day.
Flexibility with schedule a plus.
Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis.
Minimim age 16 years.
