Cumberland Animal Clinic is seeking a dedicated animal lover to join our team as a Kennel Attendant. This position is part-time, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keeping cages clean and sanitized
• Various housekeeping duties (laundry, dishes, taking out garbage etc.).
• Walking, feeding, and picking up after the animals
• Interacting with cats
• Occasional bathing

Requirements:

• Must be friendly and outgoing as you will be interacting with clients on a daily basis
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and be willing and able to safely restrain or move dogs of all sizes including dogs that are over 100 pounds.
• Must be flexible with hours and available to work weekends
• Must be comfortable standing, walking and being active for most of the day
• Must be able to handle excited dogs who may bark and jump

They are a five doctor practice specializing in preventative care and wellness, medical case diagnostics, surgery, dentistry and imaging. They also offer a fully stocked veterinary pharmacy, house call capability and emergency care. In addition, their 7000 sq. foot facility is designed with the environment in mind; it features green insulation, environmentally friendly heating and cooling, energy-efficient lighting and a solar farm on site that provides the bulk of the hospital’s power!
