GHD is seeking a qualified Junior Business Analyst with entry to mid-level experience and skills to work with our Advisory Asset Management group, to assess and develop requirements in support of the development, improvement, and implementation of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and enterprise asset management systems (EAMS). We are looking for an individual who is a quick learner, ready to accept new challenges and responsibilities!

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

  • Partner with team members to define detailed business requirements and collect functional and technical requirements using industry standard methodologies.
  • Support Sr Level GHD Advisors with developing the needs assessment, requirements analysis, software and hardware evaluation, and identifying new technology to provide successful solutions to client problems and to improve their operations.
  • Develop detailed "As-Is" and "To-Be" business workflow diagrams and annotation documentation.
  • Support client software selection activities.
  • Participate in developing functional specifications, test plans, and scripts.
  • Participate in the testing and quality assurance of software solutions to ensure that they meet requirements.
  • Assist with developing Software Training Materials.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Understand the principles and practices of planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining computer information systems.
  • Possesses knowledge of business operations, processes, and procedures.
  • Exhibits excellent oral and written communication skills; must possess the ability to build detailed and effective technical documentation.
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of professional experience.
  • Ability to work independently and lead multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with Database concepts and structures
  • Familiarity with general API concepts
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft products, including Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • Periodic travel (10-15%) is required
