SUMMARY

The IT Support Specialist will support telecommunications and assist with overall technical support to clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Telecommunications (Teams, Red Phones, Video Teleconferencing, audio teleconferencing) and recommend upgrades when needed
  • Support user issues with Global OpenNet and VPN Connections, including the enrollment process
  • Support mobile device platforms including Microsoft Windows and Apple iOS
  • Design graphics for various multimedia formats, from typography and still images to web page navigation schemes to video and interactive multimedia content
  • Provide performance metrics as required by the USG supervisor
  • Assist with overall technical support to clients
  • Support out-of-scope IT resources
  • Serve as liaison between WHA, IRM and other bureaus on technical matters

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma with at least 5 years of experience in the IT field.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Must be able to pass a Drug Screen and Background check.
  • Five (5) years or more work experience in Information Technology support.
  • Experience teaching, coaching, and mentoring professionals on Internet Technology solutions.
  • Ability to solve problems and encourage consistent, solid performance.
  • Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • English language (written and spoken) communications skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate activities in multiple locations, act decisively in daily work, and work well in a multi-cultural team environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently to assess priorities and manage daily coordination of details with minimal supervision
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with SharePoint services
