Position: I.T. Support Specialist
Location: Administration, Milpitas, Ca
Employment Type: Regular Full Time, Non-Exempt
Program Summary:
Support and assist in administration of all Computer, Network, and Telecom systems for the HomeFirst enterprise.
Responsibilities:
The I.T. Support Specialist provides hands-on desktop, laptop, printer, hardware, and software support in a Windows domain network environment. They will troubleshoot hardware and software problems and document resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system. Travel to remote sites as required to perform onsite troubleshooting and support tasks. Provision and deploy new computer systems per defined standards. Maintain hardware asset inventory. Do basic administration of Active Directory and Office 365 user accounts and perform additional responsibilities as required including documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
Min 2 years of desktop hardware and software support in a Microsoft Windows domain network environment. Advanced level laptop, desktop, and printer, hardware and software troubleshooting skills are required. Demonstrated basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Ethernet, Wifi). General understanding of Active Directory and Office 365.

- Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated professional and helpful demeanor, including the ability to work with a wide range of users.
- Highly responsive and user/customer-focused.
- The ability to work independently in a remote setting under deadlines.
Other:
- Able to perform sedentary work;
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs. on occasion;
- Ability to use keyboard and read computer screens for extended periods;
- Able to stand/sit for extended periods, kneel, reach and bend related to the completion of duties;
