POSITION SUMMARY

Adams Group is seeking a qualified Help Desk Technician to add to our team! The Help Desk Technician will serve as the first point of contact for technical assistance, performing troubleshooting, and determining the best solution based on the issue. An excellent Help Desk Technician must have good technical knowledge, communicate effectively, be dependable, and be customer oriented.

The Help Desk Technician role is on-site at our North Port office. Our hours of operation are 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM; however, the typical hours of this position will be 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

JOB DUTIES

  • Set up and install new IT hardware.
  • Repair and troubleshoot systems, including, but not limited to, computer workstations, mobile devices, networking equipment, servers, and software.
  • Utilize a support desk and remote management software to supplement in-person support, thoroughly documenting issues, interactions, and solutions.
  • Provide support in-person, through email, and over the phone, as necessary.
  • Organize and maintain inventory of all IT-related assets.

Applicants should possess the following minimum requirements to be considered for this position:

  • Minimum of two years' experience in the same or similar role
  • Proficiency in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Office, and Windows OS programs. Experience with networking and servers is a plus.
  • Proficiency in help desk management software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
