The Oregon Clinic is seeking a full time IT Helpdesk Technician to join our IT division. The position is working primarily out of our site at Gastroenterology East clinic in NE Portland. We are looking for a bright individual with an enthusiasm for customer service and a desire to learn. This position will work four 10 hours shifts per week that rotates Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays off. Shift is 6:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

The Ideal Candidate will:

• Ensure proper computer operation for end users by documenting, prioritizing, troubleshooting, and resolving help requests, and completing maintenance or other administration tasks as assigned
• Work closely with staff and clinical personnel throughout the clinic with excellent customer service, organization, and follow through
• Use diagnostic and help request tracking tools, communicate with end users, train small groups, and escalate issues to other technical resources when needed
• Be extremely detail oriented, can multi-task, and be skilled at simultaneously taking phone calls and processing requests

Starting pay range, based on experience: $26.13 - $35.36

Requirements:

• Excellent customer service skills required, passion for helping people is a plus
• Proficiency in common computer hardware, Mac OSX, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and Terminal Services/Citrix required.
• A+ Certification preferred, but not required
• 2+ years of relevant experience or relevant schooling required. Prior IT experience in the medical industry preferred.
• Excellent phone skills, problem solving and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Excellent attendance and work ethic
• Reliable transportation is required for travel between clinic sites
