About This Role
The IT Financial Analyst II will support the IT team in managing operating expense budgets, preparing financial analysis for the various IT projects, and completing critical FP&A processes including the annual budget and monthly projections. This role will also act as the liaison with the audit teams (both Internal and External) by coordinating meetings and collecting requested supporting details from the individuals in the IT department. In addition, this role is one of the DocuSign administrators and provides support to all other areas of the company and generates annual reporting and analysis of usage.
What You’ll Do
- Support annual operating expense budget and monthly projection processes for the IT team
- Calculate monthly Capitalized Labor results by extracting time data from our PlanView project management system and utilizing excel functionality to itemize the data and analyze the results
- Perform month end closing duties on owned accounts including submitting accruals to the General Accounting team
- Work with ITBO manager on all audit related items, including facilitating meetings with IT contacts, monitoring remediation plans, and assessing our IT Risk environment.
Who You Are
This individual should be a independent worker who has a natural sense of curiosity as they are exposed to all of the Ace IT projects, which support all areas of the Company. Individual should posses an intermediate level of excel knowledge (pivot tables, filtering, V-lookup). Role has some accounting responsibilities, but these go beyond the normal month end close duties, so the ability to think analytically is a key trait for this individual.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 3 years work experience in a financial, accounting or business analytical capacity; work experience in audit, planning and budgeting preferred
- Excellent communication skills, including effective verbal and writing proficiencies
- Ability to successfully interact with various levels of business partners and members of management as well as external groups including audit or business partners
- Ability to employ ROI, financial analysis and modeling techniques as well as an ability to interpret the data, present findings and make recommendations
- Advanced Excel skills required, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SAP & BPC/EPM
- Strong analytical, problem solving skills, and attention to detail;
Preferred Skills
- Basic experience with accounting software SAP & BPC/EPM
- Experience utilizing DocuSign
- Practice working with upper management in medium meeting format
- Prior audit experience, either in performing as or communicating with audit teams
Compensation Details:
$70700 - $88400 per year
