Hours: Seasonal à 32+ hours per week up to 50/55 hours per week in peak season. Snow Removal is also required of this position and could be after hours or on weekends.

Pay: Hourly competitive wage negotiable depending on experience

Reports to: Project Manager and Division Coordinator

*Landscape foremen are responsible for installation and management of landscape and hardscape projects. Foremen are responsible for completing landscape and hardscape installations with great precision and business minded efficiency.

Responsibilities:

· Supervises and manages landscape team members

· Ensures that all crew members utilize all required personal protective equipment (PPE)

· Ensures that all installation work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards

· Ensures that all equipment safety and maintenance procedures are followed

· Interacts with clientele, when necessary, to ensure job satisfaction

· Supervises all crew members during the performance of all assigned work

· Reports for duty at the designated location on time each day

· Monitors all tools, equipment, and machinery for needed maintenance

· Complete daily paperwork and/or Track (a daily time and material tracking software)

· Maintain a clean and safe job site

· Trains crew members the development in the best practices of installation in company standards

· Ensures irrigation and landscape are installed per plan or gets approval for field adjustments

Educational requirements:

· High School diploma or GED

· 2 or 4-year degree in a Landscape or Business- related field is beneficial

Experience requirements:

· Must be 18+ years old

· Valid driver’s license

· Good driving record

· Reliable transportation and current proof of insurance

· 1-3+ years prior landscape experience

· Ability to read & write English, including plans and specifications

· Proficient heavy equipment operating skills including front end loaders, mini-excavators, skid steer and trencher machinery with various attachments: other construction equipment as needed

· Knowledge of perennials, shrubs, evergreens, and trees; identification and cultural requirements

· Knowledge of irrigation components and their purpose – LEEMCO Fittings, Ductile iron Pipe, 2-Wire Irrigation Systems

· Bi-lingual is very beneficial

Qualifications:

· Ability to work in a team environment with members of varying skill levels

· Ability to lift 60+ pounds consistently throughout the day

· High attention to detail…the customer doesn’t see what we do, they see what we don’t do that they paid for

· High ability to deal with ambiguity in a high stress environment while keeping your composure on and off the job

· Available to work a varied schedule (including Saturdays & Sundays) in all adverse weather conditions

· Stand and bend for 10+ hours a day

· Strong knowledge of landscape installation required

· Ability to operate snow removal equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
