The Investor Relations Administrator will assist the Company’s Investor Relations team by performing various administrative functions related to our investors. This position will have direct contact with MG Properties’ 1,800 investors and must have a great attitude and provide great customer service. The Investor Relations Administrator will play an integral role in the company’s equity raises, reporting, and maintaining our investor database (CRM). The ideal candidate will be well organized, detail oriented, and be able to handle the stress of peak busy times.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service and Investor Administration

  • Monitor the Investor Relations email inbox and respond to investor requests in a timely manner
  • Draft various forms and/or agreements to accommodate investor requests (e.g., assignments, redemptions, etc.)
  • Maintain investor database (CRM)
  • Assist with various investor-related tasks and events (e.g., annual partner meeting)

Acquisitions, Dispositions, and Refinances (Investments)

  • Maintaining investor lists for marketing new investment offerings
  • Lead the review, tracking, and filing of subscription agreements, limited partnership documents, and wires for money raises
  • Initiate checklist and maintain required documentation related to partner approvals involving acquisition/disposition/refinance as needed
  • Follow up with investors who are missing paperwork or funds

Quarterly and Annual Reporting

  • Manage the distribution of quarterly reports to investors through Investor Portal uploads and, in some cases, physical mailings
  • Upload annual K-1s and other tax information to the Investor Portal

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in an office administrative environment
  • Prior work experience with clients that provide sensitive personal information
  • Previous experience with the Yardi, Adobe, and/or DocuSign preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and a resourceful team player
  • Excellent computer skills with an intermediate/expert level knowledge of Excel and advanced working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Detail oriented and self-motivated
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to manage the stress of meeting strict transaction deadlines while handling multiple tasks/projects
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with investors and sensitive information
  • Attention to detail when reviewing paperwork (accreditation, signatures, etc.)
  • Legal experience or analytical experience a plus!
