Inventory Cycle Counter
About the Role :
As an Inventory Cycle Counter, your main function will be to perform daily product counts - resulting in root-cause analysis research and corrective SOP processes for error reduction and increased accuracies to actual system counts. In summary, you will assist in allowing EGW to continuously improve our service-level commitment to our customers.
The Cycle Counter will also assist with inbound/outbound audits and QC as well as provide support to the overall warehouse operation when needed.
The Inventory Cycle Counter is a member of the Inventory Control Group and reports to the Vice President of Operations.
Essential Functions/Duties of the position include, but were not limited to

- Executes accurate and efficient daily product counts
- Assists in identifying the root cause of error and works with Supervisor to develop corrective actions
- Participates in physical inventories and other operational processes as required
- Performs QC audits as directed in Receiving, Will Calls, Production, Fabrication, and Shipping
- Ensures proper item code and label standards on products and bin locations
- Accountability for cleanliness standards and organization of assigned, warehouse sections
- Communicate and immediately address products found to be improperly stored, damaged or non-saleable
- Perform product consolidations from multiple inventory locations
- Validate “zero” on hand locations, OPEN bins for immediate use
- Audit count emphasis on higher dollar inventory products, high volume-high demand products
- Use mathematical skills and knowledge when counting and analyzing transactional additions or subtractions from stock levels
- Remains focused and attentive to details to ensure the highest levels of accuracy in performing duties
- Maintains levels of stamina for standing, lifting, walking, and moving products/cases throughout normal, eight-hour, scheduled shifts
- Collaborate and communicate well with other team members and other departments within the organization

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, and lift/move product or boxes up to 50 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours
This is a full-time [or part-time] position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Required Education & Skills Experience
- Minimum of high school diploma
- Minimum of one year in a warehouse environment and experience performing operational tasks
- Proven inventory process and warehouse operations knowledge
- Proven ability to use Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience in WMS systems and mobile scanner functions
