SUMMARY
We are looking for a detail-oriented, hard-working Inventory Clerk to join our team. They will have prior experience in the warehouse environment and excellent math skills for balancing records. An Inventory Clerk’s responsibilities include managing all the parts or products, including recording new items in their stock room(s). They track each item as it enters the establishment through records of what’s been sold and where those goods go. Ultimately, you will be responsible for the inventory of all supplies and products that come in or leave the facility.
Work Restrictions: Because of the vital nature of this work and safety, we perform random drug testing on all employees within this department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Tracks and keeps accurate count of items on hand and utilizes these numbers to help create parts list to be used in the supply chain.
- Moves received stock into designated inventory areas; ensuring products are shelved in a timely manner to expedite the filling of daily orders.
- Maintains physical inventories, cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation.
- General upkeep of the work are observing safety, security and regulatory procedures.
- Maintains an efficient and organized stock room/ warehouse where products are stored according to specifications.
- Dispose of obsolete inventory as directed.
- Notify Inventory Lead with shortages and inconsistencies.
- Operate equipment according to the training provided.
- Maintains a professional and courteous relationship with customers, vendors and co workers.
- Complies with all directives from local, regional and corporate management concerning the position and obligations to operate in accordance with applicable local, state and federal regulations including FDA, DEA, OSHA, EEO and DOL.
- Follow established SOP's to ensure compliance with Pharmacy regulations and 3rd party accreditations.
- Performs/assists with daily cycle counts as requested.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- None.
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- 0-2 years of experience in an inventory control role.
- Experience with Inventory control systems.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least 18 years of age or older.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Six Sigma/Lean certification is a plus.
COMPETENCIES (SKILLS AND ABILITIES)
- Attention to detail, good organizational skills, and strong mathematics and computer skills are essential.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and assist in other job duties.
- Able to work in both independent and team settings.
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work overtime.
- General knowledge of receiving process and basic knowledge of returns and cycle counts.

- Some warehouses are a pharmacy facility with exposure to compounding agents.
