About the Role:

The Interpreter assists Early Intervention Specialists by providing written and verbal interpretation via in-person services. This is a part-time role for approximately 5-10 hours per week. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Spanish and English and available to work in person.

This position is eligible for a $1,000.00 Sign-On BONUS!

In this role, you’ll get to:

• Provide translating/interpreting services for Early Intervention Specialists and families during remote access, home visits, center-based visits, and group meetings when necessary

• Translate written materials such as parent letters, newsletters, narrative reports, IFSPs, and notes as needed

• Assist Early Intervention Specialists during home visits when necessary

• Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a team approach to service provision

• Maintain compliance with all Kennedy Donovan Center policies and procedures, /DPH regulations and requirements

• Perform other job-related responsibilities as assigned

We are looking for people who:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish

• Ability to translate written materials in the pursuit of service delivery (via text or email)

• Able to meet required competency level in Microsoft Office Software.

• High school diploma or equivalent

The physical requirements for this role are:

• Ability to meet with families and/or individuals via phone or video platform

• Ability to use a computer
