What You’ll Do
You’ll be a key member of the HELP USA finance team, which supports a $150 million, 1400 employee not-for-profit organization. You'll report to the Payroll Director (who reports to one of two Controllers) and take responsibility for recording, analyzing, and disseminating financial information related to payroll.
Your responsibilities will include:
Processing payroll on a regular basis including adding new employees to ADP and eTime, uploading accrual schedules, preparing 401k reports and wire transfers, and preparing labor distribution schedules.
Responding to payroll-related employee inquiries.
Reconciling payroll related general ledger accounts and making adjusting entries.
Serving as a backup to the Payroll Director when needed.
Reconciling the payroll bank account.
You’re a great fit for this role if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or a finance-related program).
Prior accounting experience, ideally in payroll accounting.
Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Access, with knowledge of ADP, eTime, and/or Lawson a plus
Compensation: $64,000
