Intake Specialist
ABOUT US:

As a Intake Specialist, you will be responsible for the receiving of all incoming vehicles, collecting the transporters Bill of Lading, identifying potential transportation damage and staging vehicles for inspection at our reconditioning and logistics centers. You will be familiar with the Hgreg inventory and receiving process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Receive incoming vehicles, locates, moves and stages vehicles
Collect and go over the “Bill of Lading” on each vehicle received
Visual inspect each vehicle and report damage to management
Prepare barcodes, tags and key fobs for vehicles still in transit
Remove auction stickers and replace with pre registered barcodes
Create work orders
Complete body estimate on all newly received vehicles
Delete wholesale vehicles from Pre-Recon
Coordinate with buying/Inventory team to stage OVE vehicles for the auction, arbitration and wholesale
Complete a weekly inventory scan of all vehicles and assist audit team locating any that may be missing
Utilize and navigate live documents to track vehicle status
Delete canceled auction vehicles no longer in transit from Pre-Recon
Operate and troubleshoot and inventory tracking systems.
Daily check-ins with the manager
Compliance to company policies and procedures
Compliance to safety requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Two years of work experience, required in an outdoor automotive environment
One year of receiving and/or inventory experience
High school diploma
Ability to be outside and stand for several hours
General automotive knowledge/mechanical aptitude
Ability to differentiate colors
Basic computer proficiency, with ability to operate handheld devices
Excellent customer service skills and attitude
Multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Ability to travel
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work in extreme conditions (weather and terrain)
Bilingual skill a plus
Driver's license required
