CI's interdisciplinary team of OTs, PTs and SLPs focuses on the unique needs of each child. Position Responsibilities Include:

New family phone calls
*
Schedule initial consults with new families
*
Meet with families for consult and intake appointment
- Mobile out to meet with families at CI’s regional clinic locations
- Assist families in determining the best services for their child
- Investigate insurance and funding sources
- Collaborate with billing and insurance team to obtain initial authorizations for services
- Collaborate with scheduling team to create ongoing family schedule
- Collect intake paperwork, insurance and funding source information, and scheduling preferences

Check in with new families at the following junctures:
- Intake
- After completion of first appointment
- 3 months
- 6 months
- Ensure new families receive welcome packet

Send survey and follow-up correspondence to any families being discharged from therapy
*
Track and analyze data of families discharged or dismissed from services
*
Analyze data on service utilization
*
All other duties as assigned
*
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: *

Knowledge of insurance and billing terminology
*
Skilled communicator, both oral and written
*
Ability to problem solve
*
Ability to work collaboratively within a remote team
*
Knowledge of OT/PT/ST and specialty therapies (music, art, recreational therapy)

This position is 1.0 FTE. The company's hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
